The Willow Flycatcher (Empidonax traillii) breeds throughout much of North America. The southwestern subspecies (E. t. extimus) breeding range occurs in Arizona, southern California, southern Nevada, southern Utah, southern Colorado, New Mexico, western Texas, and extreme northwestern Mexico.
