For many years the Picacho Reservoir south of Coolidge was the only location in Pinal County with confirmed nesting of the Least Bittern (Ixobrychus exilis). In 2020, we documented successful nesting at another location—a farm pond near Coolidge. This article describes the nesting of Least Bitterns at this pond.
